In early 2025, our founder Koketso Morapedi was deep in the throes of planning his wedding. What should have been an exciting journey quickly became an exhausting ordeal that exposed the glaring gaps in Botswana's event planning ecosystem.

Finding service providers felt like searching for needles in haystacks. There was no central platform—just scattered Facebook groups, word-of-mouth recommendations, and endless phone calls that led nowhere. Koketso spent weeks scrolling through social media, sending countless DMs that went unanswered, and chasing down referrals that didn't pan out.

When he finally found providers, comparing them was nearly impossible. Each had different pricing structures, availability was unclear, and there were no reviews to gauge quality. He had to coordinate everything manually—juggling spreadsheets, screenshots, and notes scattered across multiple apps. The process was chaotic, time-consuming, and frankly, overwhelming.

The breaking point came when a provider he'd been trying to reach for days finally responded—only to say they were fully booked. Weeks of effort, wasted. That's when Koketso realized: if planning his own wedding was this difficult, countless others must be facing the same struggles.

Eve-25 was born from that frustration. The name itself tells the story—a short form of "Events 2025," marking the year this vision came to life. Today, we're building the platform Koketso wished existed—a central hub where clients can discover verified service providers, view portfolios, read honest reviews, and connect instantly. From intimate birthday parties to grand weddings, we're making event planning in Botswana what it should be: exciting, efficient, and stress-free.
